    Managing Accounts

    Adding an Email Account Manually:

    1. While on the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
    2. Scroll to and tap "Settings"
    3. Go to "Accounts" and tap "Add account"
    4. Select "Email"
    5. Type in your email address and password
    6. Tap "Manual setup"
    7. Select an account type
    8. Edit the information for incoming data and tap "next"
    9. Follow any additional on-screen steps to complete the setup

    Adding a Gmail Account:

    1. Launch the apps drawer
    2. Tap "Settings"
    3. Under "Accounts", tap "Add account"
    4. Select "Google" > "Existing". (NOTE: tap "New" instead, if you're intentions are to create a new account, and follow the on-screen prompts)
    5. Type in your password and email address
    6. Tap the "Next" arrow
    7. Optionally, clear the check box next to "Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play"
    8. Review the documentation regarding terms and policy, and tap "OK"
    9. To skip adding a payment option for the Play Store, tap "Not Now". Otherwise, tap "Set up credit card" and follow the on-screen instructions
    10. Review the "backup and restore" information
    11. Optionally, clear the check box associated with "Keep this phone backed up with my Google Account"
    12. Tap the "Next" arrow to complete the set up

    Deleting an Email Account:

    1. Tap the "Applications" icon while on the home screen
    2. Scroll to and tap "Settings"
    3. Tap "Accounts"
    4. Choose the type of account that you want to delete
    5. Tap the name of an account that you wish to delete
    6. Press the "Menu" icon located in the top-right corner
    7. Tap "Remove account" twice, for confirmation

    Sending Emails

    Sending an Email Through the Gmail Application:

    1. From the home screen, tap the "Apps" icon
    2. Tap "Gmail"
    3. Press the "Compose" icon
    4. To attach a file, tap the "Menu" icon and select "Attach video" or "Attach picture"
    5. Select the type of attachment, and locate > select the file that you wish to attach
    6. In the "To" field, enter the desired recipient's email address
    7. Tap the "Subject" field and enter a subject
    8. Tap "Compose mail", and type in the message
    9. When ready, tap "Send"

    Sending an Email Using the "Email" Application:

    1. From the home screen, tap "Email"
    2. Tap the "Compose" icon
    3. Tap the "Attach" icon and select "Add picture", "Add video", "Add sound" or "Add files"
    4. Select the desired type of attachment
    5. Navigate to the desired files and tap to attach it
    6. Type in the recipient's email address in the appropriate field. Optionally, tap the "Contacts" icon and select a contact from the phonebook
    7. Optionally, enter a subject in the "Subject" field
    8. Tap the message field and type in your email
    9. When ready, tap "Send"

    Deleting Emails:

    1. Tap "Apps" from the home screen
    2. Select either "Gmail" or "Email"
    3. Navigate to the desired email and tap it
    4. Tap the "Trash can" icon
    5. If necessary, confirm by tapping "Delete"

    Changing the Notification Settings for Incoming Emails:

    1. Open the apps drawer
    2. Launch "Email" or "Gmail"
    3. Tap the "Menu" icon and tap "Settings"
    4. Choose an account name
    5. To disable notifications in the "Email" app, scroll to "Notification settings" and clear the "Email notifications" check box
    6. To disable Gmail notifications, clear the "Notifications" check box
