Straight talk is also GSM now, but that unfortunately doesn't mean anything as far as going from Metro since they are CDMA.

The short answer is no, This service runs on the Verizon network and they will not activate a Verizon phone on it either

hi i really want to try straight talk, and the only good phone for their service costs over $300 at the straight talk website, and is not sold in most walmarts. the same phone, the samsung finesse, is also used with metro pcs, which has no coverage in our area. is there any way to use a metro phone with straight talk? or use any other phone with them for that matter...thanks!
