    Hello,

    for Telus Samsung,

the only telus samsung device which can be unlocked is the Samsung Apollo,

all other devices need a service provider code which cannot be provided

    thanks

Oh, and the A540 is a good phone. Probably as good if not better than some current Samsung models (way better than A660 for sure !)

Does Telus offer this option (Pay $50 to unlock one of their phones?) or would you have to argue to get it done?

Thank You in advance for all your help!

Sometimes you can locate the lock code in the "nvm" file of the phone if you can cacess the file system in either BitPim or QPST.
    try nvm_0000, nvm_0001, and nvm_0002
