Double Triple X, the only thing I can suggest would be to dial 877-778-2106 to see why you are not getting service. If you've done so already, and are now getting service, please update us on your situation and how you got a resolution.

I still have the same problem. its still says "call failed:not allowed", should I call t-mobile or motorola now? Has anyone else had the same problem?

Does your phone display "No Service" on the screen? That would be a dead give away that the activation of the new sim card is not complete. Sometimes, an unactivated SIM Card will register itself on the network, allowing calls to customer care only. Also, did you dial the proper star code? *8646 to add minutes? Watch what happens when you dial the wrong star code - say #898# - it will say NOT ALLOWED.

By the way, for all of you contract customers - the reason I bring up #898# (#TXT#) is because many people think that is the star code to check your text messaging balance. The correct code to check your text messaging balance is #674# (#MSG#).

If you are calling from your T-Mobile handset, you need to dial *TOGO to top up a refill card. If it still doesn't work, call 1-877-778-2106 from another phone.

It sounds more like a T-mobile issue - I'll move it to where it can ge the right attention

    Hi,

I've got a Motorola Razor V3 and its on t-mobile. I bought a new t-mobile simcard and i put it an and it registered fine. However i tried to call 150 to register my top up card (or just to top up in anyway) and i got this message, Call failed: Not allowed.

If someone could give me some advice in sorting out this problem it would be greatly appreciated.
