I've had the KRZR since late Nov. LOVE the phone, but recently (within the last week) the display turns black, the phone freezes up, and the verizon logo shows up, and goes away! Typical Verizon/motorola phone...wait till they work the bugs out!

You will have to convert your iTunes music to MP3 or WMA format (this is a slightly complicated process with protected music). Verizon phones will not play the protected M4P format of the music you bought from iTunes.

My best suggestion to convert your music is to burn a CD of the tunes you want to put on your phone (in audio CD format, not data CD), then rip that CD back to your computer in MP3 or WMA format using Windows Media Player 10 (so as not to clutter your iTunes interface with duplicate music). Then you should be able to sync the music to your phone with no problems.

The Motorola Krazr is out right now for Verizon and Sprint. A friend of mine just got the phone and says that he loves it and likes it better than the razr. He complained about the signal somewhat though which was about the same with the razr but over all he likes it as well.

I've had this K1 for 2 weeks now, took me forever to download all the updates fot MPT and got it up to the highest udate..4.4 i think. but with this being a verizon phone it still wont recognize using MPT's. so i went out and spent 30 bucks on the music essentials from VZW. Took forever to get it to work, had to switch USB cable around to 3 different slots (on back of PC) before it recognized it. Also, you have to go thru menu, to get it now, music and tones, then sync to computer before you start window media player10 and sync or it wont sync or recognize your phone, at least it wouldn't for me. I can load mp3s to the phone now but i can't get ringtones to work. Any help on getting MPT to work on the KRAZR because it isn't in any of the lists in MPT's. All in all it sure beats my old LG6100 with a stick.

I have this phone, but I am currently looking for something with a little bit more options for the Media Center on it. Perhaps the LG 8300...what do you think?

What makes you think they hate them. They make the interface of their phones to requested specifications.

I just got this phone, and havent had much time to use it. Some of the buttons are too close together, even for my small hands. The interface is nice, and the overall look of it is modern. The touch screen buttons for the music is a nice touch as well. Receptions not the greatest, but has worked decent so far. All in all its a nice feeling phone, with good construction.

Give it a couple of months... just like the RAZR V3c (I'm still a little bitter about buying it at full price... but that is my own fault).
