    Greg,

Many thanks for the info. I will give that a try.

I am truly liking this phone. I had a Sony-Ericsson Walkman phone, and that thing was pretty horrible.

This new Samsung has good reception and the volume in the earpiece is much louder, which is good for me.

I'm far from and expert on this. My company just got me a new Samsung SGH-A767 series phone and I'm still learning about it.

I haven't tried it yet but I've downloaded a program from the Samsung website - Samsung PC Studio 3. I'm getting my USB cable today.

I don't know if it works for your phone or not but they give the same program when you put in your model number on their site.

Since I am new here, it won't let me post a link so you'll have to go to the download site yourself. Go to www(DOT)samsung(DOT)com/us/support/download/supportDownMain(DOT)do, put your model number in and then go to the "download center"

From what I can see about this phone, it doesn't have Windows Mobile. In order for Outlook to be supported on a phone, you need Windows Mobile with Outlook ON the phone. I do not think that you can sync contacts using Outlook. Since the phone does have a SIM card, that will be your best bet, transferring your contacts to the SIM.

Just bought a new Samsung SGH-a777. I ordered the USB cable that will plug into my computer and then into the phone port, so I can transfer data between the computer and the phone.

Is there a way to get the names and phone numbers from my Microsoft Outlook Contacts list and send that data to the phone's address book? I have a lot of contacts and numbers, and I would hate to sit here and type each one into the new phone. I can easily convert the existing Outlook contacts to .csv file, or just about any kind of file, so hopefully that might help?

    Many thanks for any help.
