The "121" represents the SMS to email gateway. Sometimes it may be represented as ""36245," which *****s "EMAIL" on the telephone keypad. Email addresses usually do not show up for SMS. You will either see a telephone number, an eleven digit reference number or a short code. The "To" field in SMS does not have enough space to list email addresses. The SMS to email gateway handles the actual email addresses in both directions.

Yesterday, I sent some emails though standard text message (not multimedia) on my phone. When I look online at my call/data detail, it was these emails were sent to number "121". Is that how it will also appear when the bill is actually prepared (my billing statement is detailed), or will the email address end up on the statement.

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can provide.
