HTC sync only works with a usb cable, not automatically over a data connection. Google calendar sync will sync both ways without a usb connection though

They use an exchange server. Will also look into the ohter option you referenced above. Will that sync automatically, without having to hook up to the computer?

are you using a local install of outlook or does your work have an exchange server?

The work OUtlook Calendar syncs to the Droid, but entries directly to the phone are not syncing back to the work based outlook calendar. The sync appears to be working only one way.
