    How-To: Switch between Normal, Vibration or Silent Modes.

    1. If you wish to change from "silent" to "normal" mode press the Volume Up button.
    2. Pressing the "Volume Up" button twice will switch from "vibration" to "normal" mode.
    3. To view and select a sound profile open the Notification panel on the Home screen the press the "more" icon depicted as three vertical dots, tap "Sound" then select "Sound profile".

    How-To: Enable or Disable "Touch sounds".

    You can enable or disable the option of playing a sound when interacting with onscreen items by doing the following:

    1. Open the Notification panel and press the "Settings" icon depicted as a gear.
    2. Select "Sounds".
    3. Check or uncheck the "Touch sounds" option.

    How-To: Automatically Decrease the Ring Volume.

    The HTC One S features the "Quite Ring" option which automatically lowers the ring volume once you move the device. To enable the "Quiet Ring" option, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Notification panel on your Home screen.
    2. Select "Settings".
    3. Tap "Sound".
    4. Check the "Quiet ring on pickup" option.

    How-To: Make Your HTC One S Ring Gradually Louder.

    This option will gradually increase the ring volume and vibration and is useful when you carry your HTC One S in a bag or pocket. To enable "Pocket mode" do the following:

    1. Open the Notification panel on your Home screen.
    2. Tap "Settings".
    3. Select "Sound".
    4. Check the "Pocket mode" option.

    How-To: Automatically Switch to Speakerphone.

    The "Flip for speaker" option enables you to switch to speakerphone mode while in a call by flipping your HTC One S over. To enable "Flip for speaker":

    1. Open the Notification tab, select "Settings" and tap "Sound".
    2. Tap the "Flip for speaker" option.
