A Data Cable will save you charges and simplify the process. It can also be used to connect your laptop to the internet. (or desktop!)

Search the internet or go to EBay and find a data cable specifically for your model...and be sure to get the "charging" models so your phone will charge while it's being used.

    Get BitPim at http://www.bitpim.org

Cellphonemall has a good tutorial on connecting and using data cables here.

Yes it is. I have found that Mobile Action Software is easy to use and works with most phones. Do a search with LG VX6100 Data cable and you can find the proper cable for the phone. I use that software to upload pictures to the pc and upload ringtones to the phone.

Hi I have an LG VX6100, and I wanted to know if it is possible to upload pictures from my phone to my PC with a cable and if so what cable and how??? My cell phone was shut off so I can not just email it to my email address. Is there a way I can still use it to upload pictures to my PC even though the phone isn't in use??
