I also opted for the Lumia 520 for $99.99 and I am very satisfied. Pity that Nokia has just been bought because I love this company

Both are the low end phone:
The Nokia Lumia 521 from T-Mobile and the Lumia 520 from AT&T are ... either phone would make for a nice entry level or secondary phone.

Both are the low end phone:
The 520 also goes by Lumia 521 under T-Mobile, and costs $120.) ... We have corrected this piece to note that the Nokia Lumia 520 is $99.99

    Hi,

The body of the Lumia 521 is a little bit taller than the Lumia 520 (124mm vs 120mm), but otherwise they are identical in software and hardware.

If you are an AT&T subscriber, get the Lumia 520 for just $99.99 off-contract.
If you are a T-Mobile subscriber, get the Lumia 521 for $130 off-contract through Walmart or Best Buy.
If you are a MetroPCS subscriber, get the Lumia 521 for $99.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi edwardschlacte,

The main (and as far as I know, the only) difference between these two devices is that the Lumia 520 is AT&T's variant, whereas the Lumia 521 is offered by T-Mobile.

However, the specs are the same. I've noticed that some smartphone comparison websites out there indicate that the Lumia 521 has a 1.4 GHz processor instead of a 1 GHz processor, but that is false. The hardware spec sheets shown on the official AT&T and T-Mobile pages, show that both smartphones have identical CPUs that run at the same frequency - which is 1 GHz.

So, there's virtually no difference between them. Hope this helped.
