    Try going to Message settings->Text msg settings->SMS profile->Default number and if there is a number delete it and press OK or Save (I dunno). If there is no number there I can't help you.

    Hi all, I was hoping you could solve my problem:

    On my Nokia 3100, if I create a new txt message, then go to send, the next screen 'Phone Number: ' always has a random number that I do not know. This number fills the gap each and every time I try to send a txt. It is quite an annoyance and I would be very grateful if someone could offer some help on how to remove it as on a couple of occasions I have accidently sent txts to this number. As I bought this phone 2nd hand I presume this is the doing of the previous owner.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!
