key exchange disabled?

i justed activated my nextel i730 and signed up for wireless web two days ago and when i choose net from the menu screen and then choose ok the enable security then he says security error: key exchange disabled i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this problem please email [email protected] thanks

try master resetting the phone:

Menu settings advanced connectivity master reset (security is normally 000000) then just yes, accept, or ok all the way til it powers off. Power and try it. If not then restart up browser. From the net error press and hold the menu til a new menu appears select advanced then restart upbrowser.. If that does not work you will have to reset the security key. I can't remember off the top of my head how to get to it and I am to lazy to get up and get mey from the other room.. So if it doesn;t work let me know or call customer care 800-639-6111 and follow the prompts.

I have the same problem with my i580 cell. Been thru nextel and boost customer care with no luck on everything they tried. The lady at nextel did tell me I need a SIM card that ends with 3000 for the net to work on my boost phone. So now what???
