Ip Blocking?

Does anyone know if Nextel block ip addresses other than those of spammers?

as far as I know you have to request the spammer block on your phone.. they just don't do it.

Found this in a pdf document on their website: "The firewall will continue to block unsolicited inbound connections to mobile addresses unless the mobile has first initiated an access to that Internet host…"

I am a tech.. And I am always reading people's text messages and listening to there voice notes... There is a lot of spam that nextel does not block. I have also called a few times to customer care and they added the spam block on to a few people.
