Ok alot of people are having problems with myjal. so i think we need a tutorial on how to fix these issues. This might not work for Windows 98. i havent had alot of feed back from 98 users. feel free to post or email me to let me know if this works for you.

step 1) Download myjal from the software section of this forum, and install it.

step 2) Then open Internet Explorer --> click Tools --- > Windows Updates.

step 3) A microsoft page will open. click scan for updates. when its done scanning, make sure you install Service Pack 1 or higher. (better yet install everything there ) its better that way. its not harmful to your pc its straight from microsoft. so dont worry.

Step 4) If your using a USB data cable then you need the usb drivers. if not skip this step. If you do not have them you can download it from the software section of this forum. (Make sure the data cable is not connected to the PC) it causes it not to work. after the drivers are installed then connect your cable. a new hardware sound should beep as soon as you instert it. If your using a com port data cable you dont need this step.

Step 5) For USB users make sure you open Myjal and click the options button. Check off the box that says USB and hit apply. If you dont do this it wont work. if you get the usbfix issue you can find that in the software section as well. some Operating systems dont take the drivers for the usb. rebelious pc's. lol

Step 6) Make sure you place your ringtones, waves, wallpapers in a folder thats easy to find. In order to load waves an i730 (Falcon series) phone must be connected. click type of file , and wave should appear. if you broke the plastic piece from the condor series data cable make sure its all gone. the slightest piece will not let you do anything. try to use OEM stuff its better for your phone and pc

Step 7) CLick the specified field for each file. on the left of myjal you will see the wallpapers-ringtones-J2me etc. click the one you wish to load. and look for your file. the reason i say this and it might sound dumb to some of you is because ive had people emailing me saying theyre in the ringtone section so why cant they see the wallapers.

Step 8) Load and check your phone for the file. And your DONE!! that simple if you have issues click here and post your problems
