New i305 and i315 coming out 9-7-04

The i305 and i315 with direct talk are coming out 9-7-04. Both have direct talk, in other words have the feature of acting like a traditional walki-talki. They can talk to another similarly equipped phone without the use of cell towers within about 800 feet. Has anyone heard if they work well?

The 315 is NOT the 305 that nextel sells. I work at a nextel retail store. The 315 is basically the same phone as the 305, but it has an off network walkie talkie, that works when you have no signal. The range is up to 4.5 miles. The 325 is the same phone as that with a color screen. The 315 and 325 are being released by nextel on 9/7. The only drawback to the off network walkie talkie, is EVERYONE must have a 315 or 325 to use the off network, but its still a neat little addition to the nextel lineup. If any one has any questions, i'll answer what i can.
