Question about buying an i930

hi, i wanna buy an i930 from either someone here or if i cant find anyone here, then on ebay. i just wanna kno somethin. i dont have a nextel plan yet. so i wanna get a plan that comes with a free phone/or the cheapest phone possible. when i get this phone, can i just switch the simcard to the i930 that i buy and ill be ready to use the phone? or are there other things i must do to the phone, or plan, or service? thanks

From what I have been reading(IM NOT POSITIVE) the beta releases of the phones have a day that they will be inactive and won't work. Secondly with switching the sim card, on a free phone you won't be able to switch it over because the newer phones use a differnt chip. Meaning that a I90 chip will not work in a I730 phone, I have tried...when I did this my sister had to go out and pay 35 bucks for a newer chip to put into the I730. So im figureing that to use a I930 you need a I530 chip and up. Hope this helps a little bit more, the phone I don't have I got a I730 .
