Help with Tones

My mom has an I88
I would like to download ring tones to her phone. Do i need to do anything to her phone. I have an i830 and i got webjal. Does it work the same way for her phone to.

Sorry,but the i88 does not have the capabilities to get ringtones. You can just trade that phone in and get her an i205 at least.

you can not upload ringtone to a 205. It will not upload to 205, 530. You will need at least a 710. You get upgrade to a 710 for 99.99, and nextel will buy back the 88 for 10$ off the 710. they buy back phones on upgrades for different amounts. take it from me. Nextel ace.

you can get ringtones on a 205 if you want to pay nextel 2.99 per ringtone. but who the hell would want to do that for crappy sounding tones.

Dude,im not trying to insult you or anything,but whats wrong with you. I've uploaded rintones (midi) to the i205 MANY times. Maybe your talking about .wav tones,but midi tones can be uploaded to the i205 via data cable. I thought the guy with the $10 program would have known that...

I get the general com error when trying to load wav tones to my 730 with webjal....do they have to be in midi format? I don't think i have a comm issue cuz i can load wallpapers no problem Thanks

Your i730 is capable of having voice,wav,and midi(type 0).

I think the ringer might be too big.
