well via logic it has to be either sept or oct, they have been dropping phone every month since march i think. so they are going to keep up that pace one will come out in sept, or oct. Now the fact that it pasted fcc in june if i remember correctly, and there have been many beta one out there now, it stands by logic it will be out in sept or oct.

Has the i870 been FCC approved?

i am hoping that nextel comes out with a new bluetooth phone that works with products such as Uniden's ELBT595 cordless phone since the curent two phones and the adapter doesnt work with the phone.

why would you need a cell phone to work with a cordless phone?

i really dont see why you need to pick up your cell with a cordless phone if the point of a cell phone is to have it on you the whole time.

Some posts have said that the new smartphone i930 will not have bluetooth, but the i870 will. I wish they would make a smartphone with bluetooth. Can anyone elaberate.

i have been looking for a new phone for awhile and can not wait for one of these phones to drop.....who has the up to date info on both the i870 and i930...release dates??? updated features(cause i know they have been changing features on each phone)

doyoudare---- Do you read i explained this on page 12, one more time. I930 will not have bluetooth, but it will have the ablity to add an sdio slot in which you can read about here http://www.sdcard.com/usa/TextPage.asp?Page=5 in essance you can add bluetooth with a card. Seeing that the i930 is a a few years late, the reson why it does not have bluetooth. Plus the fact that the i930 is a mix of gsm and iden has made it a fatter phone, adding bluetooth would add to the size as well.

Yes the i870 should have bluetooth or at least all the stuff i have seen on it.

I really do not see the need for bluetooth but that is me.

usmc no one knows an exact date for dropping the i930 or the i870 as it was just posted on the top of this age if you happened to read the page you would have noticed that we are hoping it will be in the next few months for the i930, and in nov for the i870, though i can not find that the i870 has passed the fcc aproval, though i have seen a few beta i870s.

I'm sorry to be an ass i do not mind if you do not use the search funtion to find thing in the posts, but there is no excuse for asking the same damn question, that was just answered in thread, or on the page that you posted on.

the reason i asked is because half of the sites say i930 may come out with bluetooth and some say no. another issue is that just because u add a bluetooth sd card doesnt mean it is completly bluetooth, because most add-ons do not work with all bluetooth products.
