My buddy uses the Doc-N-Talk with his i730. It does basically the same thing. You can make and receive calls on any of your normal phones through the cell phone. Even the DC works (although that leaves some to be desired ... but at least it does work - with the flash button).

I saw some real good pics of the i930 on EBAY today. It looks like its about the size of two i860's stacket on each other.
If anyone is familiar with the motorlla MPX200 (the origional smartphone), this i930 is comperable in size. And I had the MPX200, that thing always pulled my pants down.

I understand that the i930 is big but really how big can it be compared with all of the other nextel phones? Is it bigger than a i95cl? I need a new workhorse but I do not need anything bigger than the i95cl.

its the same size of the i860 only alittle bit thicker.

Like everyone else I have been waiting for this phone for months....well some people probably close to a year. I have an i95cl and I cannot wait to get rid of the damn thing. I am close to saying screw it and getting an i830. Everybody speculates when this phone...and every other phone...is going to come out but it seems to me nobody really knows. Its September 1st and I had my hopes up for today but it seems like nothing its going to be released this month. Does anyone have any real information before I just go an upgrade my phone out of frustration?

if you would read the sprint website it states that they are one as of today but offically it will not happen until all stores are changed over tonite and september 2nd all nextel and sprint stores will be sprint and look the same, so best bet is maybe sometime in the next week, if not i am betting by the end of the month an i930 will be on the market

It is prety much a given it is out in oct 03. I am hoping sept 5th but i hightly doupt that. I think this month it is all about the merger.

i work for nextel and i have the i 930 it freezes it takes about 1 and a half minutes to turn on it sucks. if you go to internet explorer you cannot navigate it. the volumes stays stuck most of the time when you try to end a phone call does not do it most of the time you cannot retrieve the phone book from the sim card so that is another downfall.web jal does not work for the i930 so i dont know what software is going to be used to download ringtones or wall papers in that matter. windows media player works fine most of the time it does play mp3.the camera records for 52 seconds which is better than the 860 which only records 10 seconds but the quality still sucks on the camera.

i'm gonna call bs until i see a pic...all that info is readily available for all on many other sites and unless you are way up in the company...not many have it and if you are way up you wouldn't be posting here.

You know what? this is really starting to suck. The fact that people are waiting for this and we now have to deal with a merger with Sprint and finding a phone throgh sprint and their service is no fun thing and the fact that we now receive all of this sprint mail that has nothing to do with me or my nextel plans, phones or serrvice is a royal pain! Now that I have vented. Can anyone validate what Dario1787 has said?

warning i have not used one personally but all this info is from reseach and knownlage of win mo, and reading other forums and post from Trusted sources.

Yes the phone takes a min and a half to start up, well concidering you are getting on the network and loading win mo. Just like booting up your computer it takes a few to load everything. I head of very few crashes. It seemed prety stable from what i have heard.

Yeah your right it does not store your contacts on the sim it stores them in the phones memeroy, if you took the time you would see in the options, there is a way to transfer your contacts on your sim. Mainly this phone syncs with outlook for your contacts and your calender. you use a program you get with the phone or you can get at ms's page, called Activesync. It transfers all that.

For ring tones and wall paper i think activesyny will work but if not look on the right side of the phone, there is a slot that my friend is for an SD card. that is how you transfer your ringtones and wallpaper. It from what i have heard is very easy.

As for the camera, well as the fact it is a a very low res camera yeah it going to suck, but wait it is a phone.
