because we didn't have any with our reps...telesales says that you can order them tomorrow at 7am but nation-wide launch should be the 6th according to the dealer website. i don't know if what telesales says is true tho.

that same ppt states that dates are subject to change...but like i said if we didn't have meetings and we don't have phones it won't launch tomorrow. all local indirect stores do not have any in stock...telesales would be the only to have it tomorrow and it would be a soft-launch.

Well I have reached an all new level of frustration. Its the big day....October 3rd....and guess what....NO I930!!!. Somehow I am not suprised at all....everything with this phone and Nextel/Sprint has been a joke. If I didn't need Nextel for work I would of been gone a long time ago. So who wants to take another guess at a date....you might win the lottery.

Seriously!!!! Where the hell is this phone?!?!?!? It's not like Nextel has a prize winning phone in there hands!!! Geeze....who agrees with me?

BTW, why is this phone soo expensive? My mom got the Black Razor for like 50$ when she signed a 1 year contract with Cingular. And my sister got the sony ericson with a big ass screen , the one that twists, which has a 1.3 mega pix camera for 75$ with a 1 year plan. lmfao gg nextel. i feel we are being ripped off for paying soo much, while other phones are just as good, and cost alot less.

thing is that this phone is a smart phone and runs on windows while all ur other phones like the v3 all run on java. thats the main reason why its price is higher. (and ur mom probably got the v3 from like a corporate deal if it was that cheap)

i just spoke to my friend at nextel and he says there getting all the spec about the phone today so they must be preping for release this week or next. so its just a waiting game now

Are you all signing up for the 1 year contract ? 2 Year? How much you guys are going to pay for i930 ?

im gonna get the corporate deal through my dad so im getting it for the price of the i860.

What makes you guys think its going to come out? And what would make you think its worth 500 dollars. Its a out of date phone that cost 300 dollars to much. I can see paying 200 for it but anyone that pays anymore is not very smart.

I agree. Like I said before 350$ for a 2 year contract, for a outdated phone is WAAY to much. Honestly theo nly thing I like is a little bit how it looks, and the front panel. The resolution on the camera isnt that great either, but its better then my current i730 lol.

The 860 isnt much better than the 730. Sure it looks flasher and has a camera on it. The only thing i like about my 860 is the ringer seems louder. Other than that i have not been happy with my 860.

unfortunately, many have been waiting for years for a new world phone to come out to replace the i2000 so they didn't have to switch sim cards. iDEN phones have always been expensive will be until the networks have been completely tied together a few years down the road. It's nothing new...the i95 was $400 when it came out when cingular offered phone with color screens that were much better for only $100. It's expensive to develop for a network that is very different. these phones only run on iDEN and R & D to make a new phone is very costly as opposed to a v180 that can be unlocked to run on any carrier that has one standard network for all the other providers.

we as nextel customers get very excited when we see advancements which is why we pay more for the new phone...and nextel knows this!
