Well I can add to the madness, I went to purchase a phone today(NOT Nextel, because I am tired of waiting for the i930) and I was told the phone is coming. The guy who owns the store received a shipment of Nextels today and inquired about the i930 and was told it would be ready to go about the end of July, which goes with some of the people who said that is would be released this Summer. I am going to wait 2 more months, but that's it!!!!!!! l.o.l

does said person have them in hand? and if so they are probably beta phones or the european versions.

No, the person does not have them in hand, the phones are not available yet. This carrier was told that it would be available by July, again I don't know how reliable this is, but he has a cellular phone store and carries Nextel. And when he called to confirm he received his 830 and 860 shipment, he inquired about the i930 and this was what he was told. These are supposed to be the actual phones, no beta or otherwise. I was told they had to update the software and also they have made it bluetooth compatible (which the beta version was not). I hope it's true, this has been going on too long. Hopefully they made is nicer looking as well.

On that site, it seems each person has a different opinion. I hope they are coming out with a phone like this in the near future. Would like one like the 930 for work.

That is very old - old info and photos....

Here is my "two-cents" worth since I've been following this forum for ever..... I notice on the NEXTEL website that they have been extending the rebate deadline offers for that pice of crap Blackberry. I think they are trying to get it out of the warehouses before they release the i930 since they know that no one in their right mind will get that Blackberry "brick" once they see the i930.

So, honestly, I think the delay is a business decision to sucker consumers in to buying the out of date Blackberry first, then release the i930.

Now, here is the good news in my estimation, the rebate offer date has not been extended for the Blackberry, it is still holding at May 31st, 2005 - It can still change, and if it does, then we will not see the i930 until paste the new date.

But, if it holds, then we are "in like flynn" and hopefully gettin' it in June (which incidentially is Summer) almost a year past the original rumors and how long I've been holding on to my i90c phone, which is OK, but no i930!!!
