Nextel i860 internet problems

My friend has a i860 and it's supposed to be able to play mp3 ringtones but when she goes to my site at www.geocities.com/griffzan187 and tries to download a ringtone it gives her a internal server error with details that are could not read or write data on connection any help?

that website does not work on any nextel phones. I will not allow you to download them for ringtones, I suggest using a data cable.

Even if the phone supports mp3 ringtones? I noticed you have the i730 which doesn't support mp3 ringtones.

I read that I had to convert my mp3s to 32bit, mono, 8000Hz for them to work on my i860. I did and they work perfectly.

do I have to convert to that? dunno, didn't try it any other way. but I think it only works with those settings.,

it doesn't matter they have wav files on those sites as well, what i was saying is that the site does not interface with nextel allowing the ability to download them as ringtones.

Yeah I've tried it different ways and it doesn't work, I heard the same from a nextel rep. about the setting.
