You did all this, right?
Click the start button select Run. Type in %SYSTEMROOT%\system32\drivers\etc\
Select Ok it will open a new window. Double click the file called hosts (no extention, just hosts) choose select a program to open it and choose notepad . If you don’t have the file named hosts file then download this one and drag it to the open window.
http://www.harrythompson.com/files_files/host On the last line add
216.19.0.250 idenupdate.motorola.com
Now if you have a line that says idenupdate already then delete the whole line numbers and all. Choose file & save then exit notepad. Reboot your computer again. Sign on the internet if you have dial up and go to this web page
https://idenupdate.motorola.com (besure to use https) If you see a blank page with the words 1999valid11 you are doing well. If you see a page that says something about download or purchase all is not well. Go back to the start and try again!
Double click the lock in the bottom right corner of the Internet Explorer window. Choose Install Ceritificate. Hit all the positive things (ie. yes ok) until you are out.
Again click start then run type in regedit press Ok double click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then double click Software than double click Motorola then double click WebJAL then double click SITE_URL Put the following URL in the box
https://idenupdate.motorola.com/webjal010102/index.cgi click ok close the regedit program.
