There as dumb as hell and they annoy the krap out of me. Plus, Nextel should be a PHONE company. Not a walkie talkie company. Whats the use of having the phone feature if every one you know has a Nextel? Beep beep beep. Its every where I freaking go. New York City, subways, reteraunts, WORK!!! Whats this crap now?

you are an angry person, nextel has many get features other than PTT. you don't have to have it that is why there are other services. Nextel is a phone company and they happen to have the market cornered on the PTT feature. If one of the other companies could get it to work and you would not be able to complain about nextel, just the PTT feature in general. Personally, I would not have any other service, their phone works great, I use a good amount of PTT and their mobile web is the cheapest and best around.

the ppt is the easy communication with out having to use the phone line

also the ppt is a feature of the iden network that instanly connects u to ur friend or whoever

Besides nextel started out as a taxi dispatch company this is where they started I also love the ptt never use the cell part and I agree web cheapest out of all carriers.
