Net Alert for AOL messages???! Help!!!

Hello I'm new to boost mobile (got a i730) and net alerts. I do know about teknidude.com but what I want to know is how on EARTH do I set up a net alert so everytime someone instant messages me on aim I will get a NET ALERT?? can this be done? for yahoo messenger too? any info is very very much appreciated!

once u log in on AIM thru tekniwap it creates a new net alert that serves as a direct access to AIM...then ur phone will vibe or alert u when u get a new message...if u received a new alert everytime u got a message ur net alert box would fill up too fast. when u receive the a new message u just have to select the AIM net alert in the message folder and it should take u to the new message!

I did login through tekniwap and got absolutely no wap alert whatsoever when someone first instant messaged me or signed on for the first time. Nothing! zip! have no idea I'm not getting any net alerts since I have my settings set up so I get notification of all messages. I remember reading about other people who had this problem and they only got net alerts when logged on through nextel's menu but I have boost and even that don't work. this is frustrating and I'm about to give up.

i use both boost and nextel and i've never had problems...not sure y u are! hopefully u get it worked out...to be honest tho...it's so stinkin slow to type back unless u have a mini keypad but either way good luck

ok tell me step by step what you do. you see I login to teknidude's aol and I NEVER get net alerts when someone im's me but you do every time? when someone im's me all I see is the star thingy next to their name alerting me they sent me a new message but I get no net alert! Others have had this problem too so not sure what's up.

I type VERY FAST with the i730's large buttons so it's absolutely no problem for me.
