You heard wrong. The i730 is supposed to be compatible with WiDEN, an enhanced form of iDEN currently deployed ONLY in Charlotte, NC for an experimental "Wireless Broadband" offering from NEXTEL. This is where the T1 would come into play. With WiDEN, speeds increase for data transfer on downloads to 1.5Mbps with bursts up to 3.0Mbps. If you want to test T1 circuits, stop being cheap about it and purchase a T1 Line Tick from TigerDirect.com

It is not a matter of being cheap, and if you would have read the thread, you would have noticed I said, "testing t-1 lines", I know all about Widen and where it is and what it is capable of doing, I am looking to test t-1 circuts when they have a problem. I heard that you can get a data cord that will plug into a rj48 and test the line.
