get service most of the time even place where u didnt get it before with a few clicks

one of my friends told me a simple way to get great service. all u have to do is: click # * menu right: really quick. then there will be a list, go down to error channel and put it on. then go back to the main screen and u will see some numbers and letters were ur service bars are usually. they will go away and u will most likely get service. the numbers and letters come every so often. trust me on this one if defintly works. i used it on my i860 and my old i730 and works great.

Kept doing that while in all modes on the phone exept net when you get past the main menus. These did not appear up where the signal bars are. Think this guy has issues farther than those with his phone. These are only trace programs for Reston and Plantation to figure out what's happening in the event your phone gets stuck between modes. Most of the time they don't need it because it's pretty obvious what your phone is doing and when.

T=Keyed on PTT to talk or receiving
t=Standing by in PTT mode
2=Connecting to tower
D=Actively sending or receiving data IP connection
d=Standing by for data IP connection
P=Connected on cell
p=Standing by for cell

Who needs this added grief when just trying to use the SMRS services?

worked for me ....It says SCCH-06-03-N in the top left corner by the signal bars. So this is supposed to make the signal stronger?

IT doesnt do anything for reception..those numbers are the Bit error rate numbers. They are used by field techs to find out about the system while the system is on the air it tells them what Channel of the cell site they are on and gives them additonal system measurements. IT DOES NOTHING TO IMPROVE SIGNAL STRENGTH

Yep, my friend is a nextel tech, it's for techs to find the channel on a cell tower that your connected to, just like eatech3 said. This rumor has been running around for awhile now, it doesn't do anything for reception.

It works just like the booster stickers under your battery!! If you are desperate enough you will believe any thing.

For those of you that it worked on, send me $5 and I will remotely increase your signal strength, NO WAIT act now and send me $7 and I will increase 3 other phones too. No need to give me your mobile numbers or account info! I can send you a blank email and just hold your phone near the screen when you open it.

Sounds like you need info or a website on how to get reverse lookup on
phone numbers, mainly private numbers! They're hard to find, especially those that operate for free. But, here's one you might want to look into. I've tried 'em and they are free; I'm just not if they handle text messaging. If not, you might want to give this a try. Their network is HUGE and I'm sure they can handle all your investigative needs!

Hope this helps -- yeah, we can hear you now!
