i like nextel. i use to have sprint and like nextel alot better. the big ? is are you going to use the 2way feature that nextel is known for. i use mine alot to talk to my wife and find it is worth it to me. there customer service (account division) is great. i have not had alot of luck with there regular customer service (they really did not know what was going on about any questions i had) i also like the free incoming calls. i will just have everyone call me back so it will be free. i also found with sprint i would get weird charges on my bill. 5 dollars here 10 dollars there. the bill was never the same. with nextel my bill is within a dollar of the same amount everytime. but the big ? is will you use the 2way. if not i would go with sprint or tmobile due to nextel's phones are light years behind the other companys phones.

Sprint has walkie talkie feature also plus unlimited internet on the phone for only $15 a month.

It appears to me the biggest drawback with Nextel besides the high price (!!) is no roaming capability. If you are outside their network, not only does the radio go away, the phone goes as well. With Sprint if you get outside their network, the radio goes but you still can use your phone.
