making ringtones

i searched for a thred for this already but didn't find one ..i own an i860 and have sooo many songs that i would like to make into ringtones but i dont know how..what programs would i need to download to make this possible? so that i can crop a song down to the time i want and then convert it to WAV format and send it to my phone.i already have webjal, just need the other programs...any help would be much appreciated..thanks a lot
