I have a Motorola i730 through Nextel and want to clear some space for ring tones. Is there possibly a way I am able to delete the default ringers that come with the phone. There is no delete option under the ringer for it to be deleted.

You cant delete them, but you can name a ringtone that your going to upload the same as the name of the default ringtone and it will replace the default one. Im pretty sure the actual rings cant be changed..... this also works for wallpapers.

default ringers can't be deleted but they can be replaced. put the song that you want on ur phone but call it merengue.mid (sp?...to lazy to check) and it will replace the original midi file...same can be done on any phone...IF IT DOES NOT WORK U DIDN'T DO IT RIGHT OR YOU HAVE A MESSED UP PHONE.....not likely tho
