    Re: Nextel signal issues

I870 is a very good phone. I never ever drop calls the only way it does drop a call is if it dies from low battery or i hit a dead spot in the network somewheres. I580 is almost the exact same thing as a I870 so they probably should operate the same. I just hope nextel does something to improve around my area in Battle Creek , Michigan 20 miles from Kalamazoo earlier in the post. If i could drop nextel without a fee i would but im waiting for sprint to improve nextels network with these dual mode phones there coming out with. Cause i here sprint is a very good provider and dual mode phones run on sprints network and only use iden for two like said in the earlier in the post. Pray for nextel :l

    Re: Nextel signal issues

The i930 is the wrose phone I ever had from Nextel,
I normally travel to South America and when i'm down there I use the GSM feature on the i930 and I also get the worst signal ever, drop calls..
So I know there are many problems with Nextel service, but I belive all Motorola Iden phones has a big problem low signal.

    Re: Nextel signal issues

main signal issues comes from crossing lines between towers (long drives) and never powercycling the unit (once per day is recommended)

As for the original poster whining about incomprehensible charges, if you have specific questions, I'd be happy to explain. There's nothing you wont find anywhere else. All cell phone carriers are crooks, its just a question of what each company cheats you on

IC402 and 502 use the CDMA (Sprint) network, generally (but not always) superior coverage
