i860 water damage!!!

um, i have water damage to my i860, it wont cut on, but the sim still works(i beleive), i tried using a hair dryer, still wont cut on, so now i have come to the conclusion that i am going to look on ebay for a new phone. can i buy a blackberry and use my sim from the i860??

it will work but, the only problem is the blackberry stores contacts to the phone and not the sim so you will not have the contacts. Problem about the blackberry is that you have to pay extra monthly. $30+ on top of what you are paying now. Best thing to do with your i860 is to take the battery door off and take the battery out. Leave your phone sit on the dash of your car for a day or so it dry it out. The other good place is on top of your computer monitor. Feel it. If it is hot than it is good. The hair dryer will only work if you were to open up the phone and flip. You need a long slow dry heat. If that doesnt work and you feel like tearing it apart I could give you a few other ideas.
