Hey Im new to all this forum stuff, so I don't no if I asking the right questions at the right place. So please be patient with me. I just got the nextel i930 smartphone. I have a few internet sites i need to access for work, but whenever i try and access them my browers doesn't support frames. Is there any solution to this.

I have the pocket pc and it has pretty much the same browser and I have the same problem. I know that there is a registry edit I can make to make it work. I am not sure if you can do the same or not. The other thing to try is a different browser like opera http://www.opera.com/ the only problem with the i930 is that in true nextel fashion they locked it out so you can not run most 3rd party software. You have to unlock the phone. I think I saw a posting on www.motospeak.com www.ideninsider.com or www.nextelnoob.com on an unlocker.

Re: Nextel i930: POST RELEASE

ok i have a i860 and i wanted to upgrade to a i870 but i saw the new i930 and i liked it. but i was wondering when you send a text messege with the i930 do you have to leave the phone open in order for it to send just like the i860? Or could you close the phone and the text messege will send whenever?

Re: Nextel i930: POST RELEASE

I just bought a i930 used from a friend, (no manual ) is there a way to just "default" the phone? meaning i want to just delete everything she put on it, all her contacts, pictures, etc. Is there a way to do this? i know it has a "delete all personal info" but it asks for the sim password my sim is in it and i don't want it to delete all of my contacts.

so other than going through everything on the phone and deleting all her contacts one by one is there anyother way?? thanks for the input, so far this seems like a pretty cool phone.

i guess i could do that if i could remember the password on my sim card....now i have to call customer service for the unlblock (puk) code...

edit...ok so i called got a dude that super cool....but now i did a master reset and it doesn't do anything ....ughh another call to nextel i guess LOL

a master reset i was told basically is resetting all connections with nextel....doesn't clear old info like contacts, etc...

ok last edit lol...just use the "delete personal info" it doesn't delete stuff off the sim, just the stuff on the phone. again your sim is safe. (in case like me you got a used phone and want your numbers on it but want to delete all the old users crap)

You Dont need to call to do a master reset...Turn phone off... Hold the two soft keys and power back on soon as it said hit ok, hit ok and dont touch the phone....let it run and then ur all Done|....everything of hers cleaned out

You can download the manual from the nextel/sprint web site. Just go to the phones, choose the i930, click on manual section on the phone listings, choose the manual it will come up on acrobat reader, and you can print it from there.
