I ordered mine the morning of the 10th. Just go to the email inwhich they gave you the FedEx Tracking #. Click the link to check status. All week it was saying an item in this order is on back stock but today it showed the time it was pciked up and where it is at this moment. Expect destination date said tomorrow. good luck, if your tracking reciept still says backorder then tomorrow yours will be picked up since you ordered a day after i did

Has anyone had trouble downloading ring tones or wallpaper from the Nextel site to your i930. I have a text messaging plan and can recieve and send texts but when I go to download I put in my phone number and nothing happens. Is this phone capable of individual ring tones for your contacts? I have been told already that it is not capable of adding a picture to your contacts. Second what messaging/data plan would you recommend.....or have purchased? I was thinking about adding one to my account but can't decide what to do. Other than the first problem that I have noted the only other problem I have had so far was that I wasn't able to get texts in the beginning. Had to call customer support and they took care of it. That is all.....for now.

I have the one that is $15 bucks a month i860...its has unlimited everything and full Internet access!!! If you do alot of text, then that is the plan you should get! How do you like tht i930???

I like the phone so far. Its a little overwhelming actually. There seems to be so much it can do. I added the plan for $10.00 a month and I have the text messaging plan that is $5.00 a month. I'll give it a try for awhile and see what is worth it and what isn't. I still haven't been able to figure out why I can't download ringtones from the Nextel site. I am trying to avoid calling them again but I might have to.

I had the ALMOST exact problem Risadd, I was going to be at home all week when i ordered the phone but when it finally came in my wife and I both had to work. I took an unaurthorised 2 hr lunch waiting on the FedEx guy to come.

How do I like it? Its has more pros that cons in my opinion. I dont think you can assign a pic to a contact. I hate the way you have to MANUALLY set the time. My i860 did that for me! I had a few services on NOL (nextel Online) like Match Mobile that I cant seem to find or access. WHen I tried to log into my mobile yahoo messenger, I could NOT even type my screen name because my yahoo ID has an underscore _ and they seem to have left that off the symbol list! I cant receive messages; i only get "this download was interupted. blah blah blah" WHen i tried to send them thru the text option it says I can only send SMS messages thur GMS only! Whateva the flup that means.
the software isnt as user friendly as the i860. i860 allowed you to go to contact, find the PTT and hit alert. i930 has added a few more steps when you are trying to alert or text. i860 let you go to a contact and hit create to compose a message. Now you have to go to a message, click add a receptiant and so fwd!
I like it over all though.

you will need the 20 dollar unlimited pack because all they data you will u use it will rack up very quickly and they will start to charge u for it
