I initially joined Nextel with the i830 but stopped the service. I now have the 1850 with a different SIM card but I still I have the other sim card in the i830.
The sim card in the i830 says ready but service is restricted while the sim card in the i850 says NO SERVICE. Why didn't the service start right away?
Anyway my real question is whether or not I can reactivate my old number on the sim card? I don't know what the trick is to this. If this sounds confusing ask and I'll clarify but i REALLY want to get my i850 working.
Thanks.

So you want to re-activate the i830 with it's original SIM card? You should have no problem doing that. You'll have to call Nextel and open up a new phone line for the i830, if that's what you are talking about. You'll give them the IMEI & SIM numbers and that should be it. I'm not sure what kind of fees they would whack you with being that the phone is already in your possession, I don't know, maybe nothing.

Actually, I want to activate my old sim card in the i850 because I am getting NO SERVICE on the i850 with my NEW sim card.
