help activating a Boost SIM

I bought a used Boost i450 off of Ebay. I already have a Boost Sim that has never been activated.

I would like to activate this Sim with the used i450 that i bought off of ebay.

However, boost Customer Care is telling me that the i450 IMEI is tied to another SIM ID and cant be activated with my new SIM. Customer care also told me that there is no report of this IMEI being stolen. I am sure the guy that sold me the phone is using his SIM in a different phone.

When i put one of my other Boost Sims in the phone, it works fine.

So, is there a way to activate my new Boost SIM without a phone? or is there a way to reset the used Boost i450

what is the serial number? I will see if I can get you a few serial #'s close to it for you to try.

You might want to get the same sim and use another IMEI number from another used phone. It can be nextel or boost

If you have another iDEN phone, Just use that when they ask for a IMEI number. When I activated my Boost sim, I used a i836 IMEI and it went thru.

an activation code will come with your boost sim card. it is normally on the sim card the big part that breaks away or in the starter kit near the sim card.
