I've heard that you can put your account on hold for around $6 a month...does anyone know if this is true? And if it is...do you have to prove you will being going out of the country or something of that nature?

Re: putting your account on hold?
Its called suspending the account. i have to do it from time to time on some of my phones when i have someone quit or whatever. I dont know if you can do it on a personal account or not. Ive got a business account and all i have to do is call up and tell them which phone to suspend.

Re: putting your account on hold?
You can call in and request a seasonal suspend. You can do it for 3 months, however it will add 3 months on to your contract. Also you can only do it once every 12 months.
The only other option is a military seasonal suspend, and they can do that longer, but must send in their papers.
