Help with 855e

Hi, I am new to the forums, so Hi to all, I need a little help with my 855e.

I have tried unlocking using a few different programs but I haven't been able to do much more than remove the primary locks,
This phone is different than the original 855 phones in the fact that those phones used zuma4 software and this phone uses carmel, it's not on my xflash list, which isn't really the main problem, because I was just going ot use xflash to put the phone to original 855 and unlock it from there.
Same thing with my 870, I was going to downgrade that software as well.

So here's the real problem. . .
My xflash isn't working, never has, I keep getting a communication error "usb operation failed. interface not available"

Can anyone help out with this?
