Transfer Audio Files from a Windows PC or a Mac:

  1. Connect the Lumia 435 to your Mac or PC via USB
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts and download one of the following apps, depending on the type of your PC
  3. Open the app and use it to import audio files from the computer

Change the Ringtone for All Calls:

  1. Swipe to the "applications" menu from the Start screen
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "ringtones + sounds" and optionally, enable the "Vibrate" switch
  4. Tap "Ringtone" and choose the desired ringtone

Change a Contact's Ringtone:

  1. From the Start screen, tap the "People" tile
  2. Select the contact you want to assign a ringtone to
  3. Tap the "edit" icon shaped like a pencil
  4. Swipe to and tap "+ringtone"
  5. Select the ringtone you want to use
  6. Tap "Save"

Change the Notification Sound:

  1. Swipe the Start screen left and access "applications"
  2. Go to "Settings"
  3. Tap "notifications + actions"
  4. You can change the notification sound settings for quick actions, action center, and applications
