I was just wondering if this was a good phone. Would anyone recommend this phone?

Was a good phone...
You have right, it WAS a good phone in 2003. Now, I think is an old model. Better, Look for Nokia 3200. Many more features, cheaper phone.
If you care about phone's volume and design I think 6100 is better. 3200 is little more bulky.

yes! i use the nokia 6100... then again i bought it in the summer of 2003. I have run into very few problems with it. compared to contemporary phones however it is kinda lacking in extra functions, but if you're not looking for a gadget to wow your neighbor and his whole extended family, then the 6100 should be fine.

Yeah,... as gpalouk had said,... it's an old model and there's much other better ones,... the memory isn't much too,... and it does not have a radio,... get it only if u really like it's design,... other than that,... there isn't much to it,....

Get the 6610. It's better for the same cost. Alternatively you could get the SE T310 which except the miniscule screen(101x80, 256 colours) is a packed phone.

i just really liked the size of it, esp. compared to 6610/7210. on paper, it seems like nothing, but when you actually hold it.. yehh

hey djuhn, if you are talking weight you should see the samsung C100. Same features, lighter, and some features are better.
Personally, 6100 doesn't appeal to people here. What you lookin' here for ehhh?

7210
the 7210 has exactly the same features but with a way cooler look .. it's a matter of personality i think

It's like Nokia are expanding their market. Using a standard platform they are making different designs.
Can anyone confirm if the 7210 Xpress-On will fit the 6610?What you lookin' here for ehhh?

I got a 6100!!!
I can tell u this, it's da lightest in its class & da smallest!!!!
It's even lighter than da Siemens SL55
It's a nice phone w/ numerous lil features
A nice alternative is da 6220, but is much more expensive but offers much more features including more than 4 times da memory of da 6100!!!!

No one would recommend the old 6100 TODAY.
Please don't buy it, it has no great features. What you lookin' here for ehhh?

Nah, the 6610 and 6100, as a matter of fact even 3100, 7210, have 725kB useable memory, of the total 1024kB(the other is for the OS)
