The infrared adaptor came standard with my laptop. I know it works fine because I have used the infrared on a t610 and on my nokia 6108 together with nokia suite... I don't know what is wrong with the 3200 but it just doesn't connect... anyone know any thing about this problem?
    thanks

you might try describing ur problem a little more clearly?

do u know where your phone's infrared port is? if so you have to have it in a line of sight of the computer's IrDA port within three feet and no obstructions.

I use pc suite with a data cable, and sometimes it just takes really long to locate the phone. maybe ur having the same problem.

also, older versions of pc suite won't detect newer phones, or if it does it can't connect. example, i had a 7250 pc suite and it wouldn't connect to a 3200. if ur pc suite is for an older phone that's probably the problem

there is perfect line of sight between the infrared. it's a new version of nokia suite, 5.1
the problem is that there is no connection with my infrared device, I also tried connection to another phone via infrared and it didn't work.... I think i might just buy the DKU-5 cable.
