free software?

Does anyone know where can I get some free software with which I could connect my nokia 3100 and PC?? I really need it as soon as possible, but I would like to avoid paying for it ; ))
And, why in nine hells, PC suite won't recognise my phone when i connect it?? Someone heeeelp me!

There are 2 other programs you can use:

MobiMB
Oxygen Phone Manager

However, your phone is supported by Nokia PC Suite which is the best choice since it is free and has more features.

If you cannot get Nokia PC Suite to work, you probably wouldn't be able to get either of the other two to work either. Trail versions can be downloaded from http://www.download.com/?legacy=cnet, if you still want to try.

Either way, you also need the correct data cable for your phone, as it doesn't have infra-red or blue tooth. You need to install drivers for your data cable. You also need to install the drivers for your phone (after you connect it) and finally install Nokia PC Suite 6.

But MobiMB and Oxygen (both trial or demo versions) do recognise my phone.. but I can't upload photos... And it annoys me... Could you PM me with a solution that doesn't include 25 mb's download, cause it lasts about 2 hours with our croatian connection speed, and each hour here is expensive...

I've got the same problem with Nokia PC Suite. But don't use that program, it sucks.

Also you need to turnoff your phone before connecting the data cable.

Otherwise the display of the nokia 3100 will flash (very strange).

But some cable or IRD and will get software with it
