Nokia 6010 & Wallpapers

Hello All,


Yes, it appears I've chosen the less popular model as I can not find wallpapers that I want for my mobile.

Looking for Free celebrity wallpapers, Sharon Stone, Nicole Kidman....all these are out there but for other Nokia models & I can not find any for my model.

Nervous Breakdown anyone?

Thank you much I dig those wallpapers but when I go to that make your own wallpaper site, my phone model is never on the list & I can't send it to it. That's where I'm stuck, I can't get anything to my model.

Any help would be appreciated~!

I also have a Nokia 6010 thru T Mobile and no wap access. T-mobile customer service told me I could e mail myself ringtones/wallpapers as long as I did not send them as attachments. She could not expand on this for me---anyone have a clue?

As far as i know da 6010's screen is 96x65...da same as da 3510i so if your fone isnt listed use wallpapers made for da 3510i! Should work!

Thanx, but how do I go to a web site, select a wallpaper or ring tone and email to my phone w/o sending it as an attachment. When I send it as an attachment I can see it in my phone under mms messages but there is no option to open or send to....I was on another forum and someone there says that he is emailing wallpapers to his phone and he also has a Nokia 6010 and T mobile prepaid--what am I missing?

Some operators wont let u e-mail pics etc to ur fone! so u have 2 options!

1-Buy a cable and have free connection to ur fone for life!

2-Create a server on da net (id recommend geocities.com) and upload your files to your webspace,den connect to da files from da wap browser on ur fone! to connect to da files u would go to da followin address on your fone http://www.geocities.com/yourusername/yourfile.jpg and for ringtones just change .jpg to .mid etc!

Unfortunately, I do not have wap access. The cs rep told me to just email myself the wallpapers, I'm just trying to figure out how (without making them an attachment) . If I went the cable route which one do I buy? Does it just connect from a usb port to the phone? software? Thanx so much for you help (and patience)

Yeah u can get USB cables for da fone! just connect straight from da fone to da usb port! Im not sure wich type of cable it is for da 6010, (ud be better of 2 ask in da shop) and den id recommend usin da Nokia PC suite! i thinks V6 is da latest one out! And once u buy da cable its free from dere on!

Hey that worked for me ~! You're right, the screen size for the other model is the same as the 6010 & that's just awesome~! Thank you very much for you help, you made my week~!

In regards to the other post, I just got a data cable & that worked for me as far as transmitting wallpapers to my phone~! JOY JOY JOY

Sharon Stone is on my phone now & I couldn't be happier~!

I got it on Ebay & I found it by searching Yahoo under Nokia 6010 data cable, I now forget the model. It was one that could be used for the 6010 & many others. I used the PC suite software.
