facing problems with connectivity

I have recently purchased a serial data cable on eBay
(kinda looks like this http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...771663697&rd=1)

I have installed the latest Oxygen Phone manager, and, unpleasent surprise, it works fine with my 3590, but won't work for my 3595. It recognizes my 3590 in a split second, but just won't accept my 3595. help?

Also, uploaded MIDIs sound horrible w/OPM. Damn.
