upgrading phone- urgent please

Hi guys,
I would like to know if i can upgrade the software on my phone using the data cable and by downloading the software from the internet..
if yes, please please please tell me how.. i very badly want to upgrade my 7250i to the latest version.
Please respond as fast as possible..
