    im trying to connect my 3220 to my pc and my pc see the phone as prolific usb-to-serial com port (com3) but when i try to connect to a program nothing can find my phone.

    modify fisrt. (id rather use infrared than usb cable.)

    did you get the cable specifically for the nokia 3220??? if so you will need a cd that has a PIM which is used to install programs and locate your phone

    I have a usb cable for my nokia 3200, it is usb but it's actually recognised by the computer as being in a serial port. But yes, a cd is essencial.
