Transferring Data From AT&T Nokia to Cingular Motorola

I recently merged my AT&T wireless service (Nokia 3595 phone) over to Cingular wireless and got a new Motorola (camera) flip phone. Is it possible to transfer the phone book in the Nokia to the Motorola? If so, how? Also, how do I prepare the Nokia phone for resale via eBay, etc.; i.e. how do I wipe out the data, unlock the system, etc.? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Ok you need to put your sim in your nokia and go to the phone book and scroll down until you see copy. Choose copy all and from phone to SIM. Then put the SIM in your new phone and yuor done.

To prepare the other phone you should do a factory reset or just manual erase. For the unlock you should send me the Network to which it is locked, the IMEI (press *#06#) and the phone model (and a donation if your feeling generous :P) then send all the info to me at sales@aardvarknco.com and ill reply with the unlock procedure.

When I put the Motorola SIM card in the Nokia phone, the Nokia asks me to enter a restriction code. Can you tell me how I get that code number? Thanks in advance for any help.

According to my SmatCalc v2.26b Standard Edition. Your unlock code (pls try the first one) #pw+126264654464161+1# or #pw+446477670406676+7# and goodluck!

Phone locked to AT&T:

Remove the sim card and power the phone on. It will say insert SIM card or something similar. Press the hash button (#) then press the star(*) button three times until you get a "p". Press star(*) four times until you get a "w". Press star(*) twice until you get a plus(+).

Now you need to enter this exact code:446 477 670 406 676

Press star(*) twice until you get a plus(+). and then press seven (7)

The code should look like this: #pw+446 477 670 406 676+7

If your satisfied that the screen looks exactly like this code then press hash (#).

The phone should say SIM restriction off or something similar.
