You'd figure, but I've think I've scrolled through all options.
For example, I pick a person in my phonebook, click on details, then options, and then have a menu of things I can do (ie. add voice tag, edit number, etc.). The only one that seems applicable to adding a specific ring tone is "Custom Tone." I click on that, and it gives me all the standard Nokia ring tones and one called "default" which I assume refers to the mp3 file that I have set as my default ring (I'd set the default as my custom ring for this person, but what would be the point because then the person would simply have the same ring as any default call). I would think I'd see something like "Gallery" listed so I could pick a tone from the Gallery that list my music files but Gallery just isn't listed.
Contrast the above with this (for setting the Mp3 as my default ring which I have been able to do). If I got to settings, then "tone settings", then "Ringing tone", it pulls up all the standard Nokia tones BUT also has a listing for "Open Gallery." If I click on that, it opens the gallery with all my MMC downloaded files and ring tones. If I click on the mp3 I want and hit options you can than hit "set as ring tone." Of course, this just sets this mp3 as the default generic ring tone.
Hopefully someone has figured this out because it just seems odd that Nokia would allow you to save the mp3 as the default ring tone, but not allow you to save the mp3 to a specific contact in the phonebook.
Thanks for any help. Other than this minor puzzle, this phone is a major upgrade in features compared to my previous Motorola phone.
