Bought Nokia 6682 for Cingular...Can it be Unlocked?

So...long story short I bought a Nokia 6682. I thought I got a bargain...thinking I'd just unlock it and use it.
Well it's locked to the Cingular service.
From a quick Google search, I haven't turned up anything that says somebody can unlock this 6682 in the GTA area.
I live about 5 hours away fromthe GTA but I'd be willing to drive up to get it done.
The question is: CAN IT BE DONE?!
I don't want to have to sell this beautiful phone on Ebay because it is locked...that would be sad.

Any info to help me unlock this bad boi of a phone would be wicked cool!

check ebay and some seller will unlock your phone for $8 but you have to send the phone to them. nokia 6682 can be unlock thru data cable. search UNLOCKING NOKIA OR CELL PHONE on ebay.

Yes...I figured.
Even the unlocking sites on Ebay I'v econtacted and the 6682 cannot be unlocked...YET (so they say).
I've gone so far as emailing those selling unlocked 6682's and asking how it is that they got their phone unlocked.
And if perhaps they wanted to buy my 6682 & sell it unlocked.
Hey they'd make a profit!!
All you need is to be a Cingular customer and to call them up & ask for a subsidy unlock code.
Too bad I'm not a Cingular customer...
Well I'll give myself another week to try to find a solution (if anyone hears of one, let me know).
Otherwise one lucky Cingular customer will get a deal on Ebay from me.
